Gym Appointments
At Sport and Spinal Physiotherapy we recognise that the goals of every patient are individually specific, and therefore we understand that a clinic visit is not always a preferred setting for some patients. Therefore at Sport and Spinal Physiotherapy our physiotherapists can provide you with gym based physiotherapy assessments and treatments at your local gym, or alternatively in the gym space we have located in Northern Ballet in central Leeds.

Our physiotherapists can provide your insurance company / solicitor with their professional opinion on your current medical condition by completing any necessary paperwork, such as assessment reports and discharge reports. We can invoice your insurance company/ solicitor directly in order to cover the costs of treatment.

Physiotherapy Assessment and Report
At Sport and Spinal physio we pride ourselves on offering the best service possible to our clients. As part of our service to our clients we also provide a medico-legal report writing service for personal injury and negligence.
The medico-legal report is completed after an initial assessment with one of the physiotherapists
This will consist of:-
- The physiotherapy needs of the individual
- The potential for improvements through physiotherapy treatments
- Previous abilities and capacities of the individual
- Recommendations for equipment or adaptations
The first appointment with one of the specialist physiotherapists will be an initial assessment and can usually be offered within a 2 week time frame from initial enquiry. Following an initial assessment a full comprehensive medico-legal report will be provided including all the relevant information that is needed.
The time scale and cost of the report will depend on each client and the extensiveness and complexity of the assessment. A full breakdown of the finding s will be documented in the report based on professional evidence based practice and judgement.
Ergonomic Assessments
An ergonomic assessment within the physiotherapy profession refers to an inspection of the workplace from the positioning of work related tools in relation to the worker to the posture of the worker so that adjustments can be made so that tasks can be performed as safely as possible to the highest standard required without increasing the risk of injury.
